Huambo (Angola) Water supply in a war torn town: Evolution and impact of the different interventions since 1985 (May 2001)

The town of Huambo has been affected by the civil war for more than 15 years. This article describes how the inhabitants were coping to survive without a centralised distribution system, using the shallow wells dug by different international organisation during this period.
